Why Does Your Practice Swing Look So Good?

Have you ever been told your practice swing looks so good by your fellow golfers? But then why can't you hit the ball you ask yourself.

That is simple, you are "Trying to hit the Ball," stop that. Swing the club. When you take your practice swing (no ball swing as I like to call it), you focus on "Swinging the Club" or the process of swinging the club, not trying to hit the ball. When golfers focus on the ball, what happens, they death grip the club at impact, they try and lift it up (chicken wing arms), or fall back by trying to scoop the ball up. Let the club do the work and swing to your finishing position. Worst case you swing to your finishing position and hold your finish you will look great, who doesn't want to look great when they golf. No one will notice the outcome of the ball, they will just be looking at you. But you will suddenly realize your good-looking finish will match up to your good-looking ball flight. Everyone wins.

Have fun swinging the golf club.
