Our Mission Statement: To impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life enhancing values through the game of golf.
Junior Golf Mentorship (JGM) is a Manitoba sole proprietorship which provides golf lessons to students and adults for a fee for services. Prior to the start of the regular golf season JGM will establish a company incorporated in Manitoba as a Not-for-Profit corporation. It is our intention to expand our existing facilities to provide no cost services to the disadvantaged youth of our community. Our objective is to provide the golf learning facilities and the experience that will enable children from every walk of life to participate in a game that teaches values for life and which can be played for a lifetime.
We want to conduct our selves with honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, and judgment and to be a good corporate citizen. During, the evaluation of this expansion we examined political, economic, socio/cultural and technical factors, in order to, understand the size and growth potential of the opportunities available to the organization. A matrix was prepared to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that may affect the company. An essence of our business was identified which looks at our philosophy. We need to earn their respect so we may provide education and then offer to be their mentor.
Our teaching facilities are currently located at Golf Central and The Meadows at East St. Paul Golf Course. However, our long term goal is to construct 1200 square foot building with a driving range and a putting green. |
